Amsterdam Internship

Before graduation, I decided to go on adventure. I came across an article of a great house, one that was low, spread out and in a beautiful location, and that’s how I found Birdseye, an award winning design & build firm specialized in residential architecture in the New England area. The leading architect, Brian Mac, liked the idea of someone from the Netherlands coming all the way to Vermont. Here I got to work independently on projects I loved: homes in beautiful natural environments, together with excited clients.

Case study house

Integrating the transition towards nature inclusive agriculture with the creation of new homes. This is a case study house I designed to act as an example of how I see the future polder home.

Amsterdam apartment

Transforming a sizable but not spacious feeling apartment into a large open kitchen, living, dining space.

Automotive design

Architecture is my passion. Yet in 2019 I took the opportunity to enroll for the elective ‘Automotive 3D’, a course given at the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering at the TU Delft. This was my chance to take the countless doodles and sketches of cars I make during classes and lectures and convert them into a 1:6 scaled clay model.

Coffeehouse

An extensions of the living room in the city. A place to have discussions, create new ideas, work or relax. A building that is firmly rooted in the city and embraces its surroundings.
